So, when Shah Rukh Khan and the biggest director of Bollywood Raj Kumar Hirani teamed up for the movie “Dunki,” everyone got super excited.
People expected a lot, especially since Hirani is known for creating memorable hero roles. Ranbir Kapoor won awards for his role in Hirani’s last movie, “Sanju.”
But, surprise-surprise, “Dunki” didn’t turn out as awesome as people hoped. The story, how things played out, and even the acting—it all fell a bit flat. Shah Rukh Khan did his best, but the whole movie had this outdated vibe, and his role wasn’t as impactful as expected.
As expected Shah Rukh Khan, though nominated at the Filmfare Awards, didn’t win the Best Actor award for Dunki.
Ranbir Kapor once again took away the trophy for his ‘masculine’ performance in Animal.
SRK fans also weren’t expecting that Shah Rukh would win the award for Dunki. They were quite sure that he would win it for Jawan.
They got mighty pissed off when it went to Ranbir and also trended against Fimfare on social media calling out they were sold out and rigged for giving awards to Nepo kids.
