Recently, the much-anticipated interview of Jailer with its cast and crew took place, during which Rajinikanth’s comments about Anirudh’s work in Jailer 2 have now gone viral on social media.
Rajinikanth stated that Jailer 2 was a big source of tension for Anirudh. He claimed that he had agreed to do three concerts and work on the film Paradise with a proper gap between each other.
However, unexpectedly, Paradise was advanced. Subsequently, he completed the concerts, wrapped up Paradise and then sat down to work on Jailer 2.
Furthermore, Nelson was really tense about whether Anirudh could pull off the Jailer 2 album with such a hectic schedule, but Anirudh’s father had a lot of confidence in him. Reportedly, he said to Nelson that when Anirudh is under pressure, good things come out of it.
He praised Anirudh, saying that every single song of Jailer 2 is a gem and when he asked him how the background score would turn out, Anirudh reportedly told him that Don’t worry, the background score will come out well.
In response to these comments about Anirudh, many social media users feel that it seems Anirudh worked on Jailer 2 in a hurry. They point to the disappointing background score of Paradise and suggest that only because of his hectic schedule he worked on Paradise in a hurry as well, making it one of the most disappointing works in Anirudh’s career.
Hence, they fear that Anirudh might once again disappoint with Jailer 2 because of his hectic schedule. Therefore, they suggest that from now on, Anirudh should properly plan his schedule; otherwise, he could end up delivering half-baked, disappointing songs and scores in a hurry.
Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether Anirudh will prove his potential with the background score of Jailer 2 and whether his work will elevate the film to the next level upon its release on October 15th.
