Bollywood is the culprit ?

Actress Shilpa Shukla expresses her views about the recent news of young actress Jiah Khan. The actor expressed her own experience of wanting to commit suicide when she was having a hard time in life. As a B.A. Pass actor she stated that instead of committing suicide she decided to have training in martial arts.

Jiah Khan’s suicide might be the one being highlighted so much but it isn’t only one. There are plenty of stories in Bollywood like these which revolve around rejection, depression and loss of faith. The industry people all seem to be stunned by the tragic news of a fellow actor who died so young. The great Big B Amitabh Bachchan expressed that he just can’t fathom the reason behind such a drastic step but actress Shilpa can understand her feelings somehow and can relate to what Jiah probably suffered.

The actress posted about it on the social networking site Facebook and meant that Bollywood is the culprit. She explained it in these words, “Bollywood is embarrassing when it comes to actresses. It’s like a new Chewing GUM that they pop in, chew chew till it’s tasteless. And spit out for another NEW FLAVOR. And sadly, we have hand few (sic) of directors who are evolved. It’s an ugly race that they are all made to run.
