As we had reported earlier, Bollywood star John Abraham’s latest theatrical outing, Attack could not come even remotely close to troubling RRR at the box office. In fact, the film hasn’t even posted a decent number in the Hindi belt.
As per early trade estimates, Attack might have collected a paltry Rs 2.5 – Rs 3.5 crores on its opening day. This isn’t even close to at least half of RRR’s opening day tally – Rs 20 crores.
If anything, Attack might get crushed by RRR unless it miraculously picks up the momentum at the box office on its first Saturday. RRR has completed a Rs 130+ crores 1st-week at the Hindi box office which is the highest ever tally for any film after the Covid pandemic.
As it appears, Attack might not have any impact on RRR’s collections. It remains to be seen if RRR can now breach the tally of The Kashmir Files, which has minted over Rs 238 crores nett till now. Foor that to happen, RRR will have to perform very well in its second weekend at the box office.
