This Sankranti season has been a largely lucrative, one with multiple new films, arriving at the box office. Namely, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, Game Changer, and Daaku Maharaaj have released in theaters.

Coming to the box office numbers side of things, there’s one solid winner here and it is Sankranthiki Vasthunam. The film has done pretty well at the box office and is holding its own even on weekdays.
After a super strong Sankranthi weekend, there’s only Venkatesh film performed pretty well even on weekdays while its worldwide tally spiked to over Rs 200 crore gross, according to the makers.

As per the latest updates, the Venky starrer is now the highest grossing regional film of all time in Telugu cinema. The same is being communicated and publicised by the makers.
Amidst the pan Indian surge in the Telugu film industry, this significant box office run from Venkatesh is a story in itself.

The Sankranthi targeted entertainment and Venkatesh’s family pull, pairing with Anil Ravipudi’s successful penetration in the masses has worked largely in favor of the film.
On the other hand, Daaku Maharaaj is returning decent revenues. After a strong start, it slowed down on weekdays and then again picked up on weekends. It might close out its box office run this weekend.
Game Changer turned out to be a bummer at the box office and is nearly washed away. It doesn’t paint a good picture for anyone involved. But Dil Raju and distributors quickly bounced back with Sankranthiki Vasthunam.
