Can’t make those films says Puri

Director Puri Jagannadh makes movies at quick pace and this allows him to try various genres but even at this pace the director he can’t make certain genres. Period and historical films are those genres.

Puri Jagannadh along with hero Varun Tej has been going through success tour of the film Loafer. It was at one of the stops when the director spoke to scribes he confirmed his inability to do certain films. He said he is ready to make a film with rank newcomers but won’t be able to make films in those genres.

Puri Jagannadh has so far made all types of films but he mostly associated with the gangster and police stories off late. Of course whatever may be the genre the character is typically arrogant in Puri style. May be that’s the reason he can’t make a period film as that would require different characterization than his usual.
