A case has been registered on Ram Charan and five other in the unit of Yevadu on the grounds of obscenity in the movie Yevadu. The case was filed by Koneru Nagendra Prasad, a former counselor, in Yemmiganur police station of Kurnool district. Other details of the case are expected to be revealed as soon as more information is available.
It is still not clear what the obscenity charges in Yevadu pertain too as it has been cleared by the censors with an ‘A’ rating and appropriate cuts too have been implemented. One has to wait and see how the Yevadu unit responds to this. Yevadu released unusually on Sunday has opened to good talk and is running successfully all over, we have to wait and see if this controversy has an effect on the film or not.
