Astrologer Venu Swamy gained fame on social media for his controversial predictions about the lives of film celebrities, political leaders, and other prominent personalities.
When actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha married, Venu Swamy predicted they would eventually divorce. As per his prediction, they did get divorced after a few years of marriage.

Recently, Naga Chaitanya got engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala. Once again, Venu Swamy predicted that they would be separated in the future.
Many people criticized him for making such predictions about the couple who were just engaged. On top of that, Venu Swamy had previously promised not to make predictions about the lives of celebrities and political leaders, a promise he has now broken.

In response to his actions, the Telugu Film Journalists Association and the Telugu Digital Media Association decided to file a complaint against him.
Moreover, MAA President Manchu Vishnu spoke to Venu Swamy over the phone, during which Venu Swamy assured him that he would never make predictions about celebrities’ astrology again.

Venu Swamy explained that his recent prediction about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita was merely an extension of his earlier prediction regarding Chaitanya and Samantha’s astrology.
“I have already stated that I have stopped giving details about celebrities’ astrology, and I still stand by my words,” he said.
Venu Swamy confirmed that MAA President Manchu Vishnu spoke to him, and he assured Vishnu that he would not predict the astrology of celebrities and political leaders from now on.
