Chiru recalled that Viswanath Garu taught him how to act sensibly, naturally, without going overboard. He said Viswanath Garu is a specialist when it comes to sentiment scenes; no one can extract emotions during a sentiment scene like Viswanath Garu. He said that during a sentiment scene, the characters shouldn’t cry, the audience must cry and no other director could do it better than K Viswanath.
Chiru said that Viswanath Garu was his teacher, a father-like figure, and a mentor because of whom he won many awards for his acting. He concluded the speech by saying that Viswanath Garu lived a complete life. He saw success as a director and also as an actor during the later years of his career. Her will forever stay in every cinema lover’s heart and his legacy is one of the greatest in Indian cinema.
