Anil Ravipudi‘s next film is already becoming a talking point even though his current project is still in progress. The latest buzz connects the director with Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna, with reports suggesting that he may be planning a film that brings the two senior stars together.
For Anil, this would be an interesting step. After working with Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and now Venkatesh, the director has increasingly been moving towards stories built around senior heroes. A project involving Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna would take that space a notch higher and could give him a chance to handle two major personalities within the same story.
The bigger challenge, however, would be the writing. A film like this cannot survive simply on the novelty of seeing two stars together. There has to be a proper reason for both characters to exist in the story, with neither feeling like an add-on. That is where the actual strength of the project would lie if it materialises.
Interestingly, this is also the kind of opportunity that could allow Anil to stretch his commercial template without completely moving away from the entertainment space he is known for. Whether he is actually developing such a script or not is something that remains unclear for now.
There is no official confirmation yet, but the Chiranjeevi-Nagarjuna buzz has certainly added another interesting possibility to the discussion around Anil Ravipudi’s next move.
