Sigma, starring Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah, with S Thaman scoring the music, has generated interest among audiences. The teaser, trailer and songs have received a positive response for the film directed by debutant Jason Sanjay. He is the son of TN CM Vijay, and the movie is produced by Lyca Productions. Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the pre-release event as the special guest.
Jason Sanjay promised a complete entertainer that will appeal to a wide audience. He stated that he envisioned a stylish and sleek action film, so he took the script to Sundeep Kishan. He remarked that the actor fits the Sigma character well. He revealed that his family are all fans of Chiru and said he was happy to show him his film’s trailer.
Sundeep Kishan revealed that he was inspired by Chiranjeevi to work as an actor in the industry. He further revealed that he had wished to see Chiru from very close quarters once, and having him attend his film event as the chief guest felt special to him. He clarified that the movie is not a gambling-based film and described it as a fun entertainer with memorable moments.
Megastar Chiranjeevi remembered how Jason Sanjay’s grandfather SA Chandrasekhar and grandmother Shobha worked as director and writer together for his Chattaniki Kallu Levu. He stated that their influence and genes came into Jason. He remembered how he wished Vijay and gave the clap for one of his early films too.
He remarked that Sundeep Kishan’s effort to reinvent himself for every film reminds him of his early days, when he tried to deliver a different film each time. He congratulated and wished the team success. He explained the meaning of Sigma and called the film an all-round entertainer by a Gen-Z director. Lyca Productions is producing the film, with Mythri Distributions releasing it in the Telugu States on October 2.
