The much anticipated first glimpse of Devara is here and it shows that the NTR-Koratala Siva project is a lavishly mounted one.
The glimpse starts with the visuals of smuggling that happens in a heavy-duty ship in the sea. Then comes the main man, Jr NTR with an intense and violent demeanor. There is a well-cut action shot of him amidst the bloodbath.
“This sea has more knives and blood than fish, perhaps that is why it is called Red Sea,” NTR says towards the end, followed by Anridh-mark BGM, elevating NTR’s presence.
The glimpse clearly implies that Koratala Siva has reinvented himself and Devara is unlike anything he had done in the past. The dark-tone and carefully presented CGI visuals are the mainstay. While this glimpse doesn’t fully establish what Devara has to offer, it certainly establishes the lavish setting.
Devara is set for release on the 5th of April. It clearly has a sea backdrop. Koratala Siva is directing the intense actioner which also marks Janhvi Kapoor’s debut down south.
