Mammootty & Dhanush Bring Pure Dhurandhar Magic to Om

Today, Malayalam actor Mammootty is celebrating his 75th birthday and as a birthday special for his fans, the makers of Om have released a special glimpse of the actor from the film. The glimpse is now going viral on social media, receiving positive responses from audiences.

Since its announcement, Om has huge expectations among the audience, as director Rajkumar Periyasamy is returning with this film after the massive blockbuster success of Amaran and because the film features solid performers like Dhanush, Mammootty and Sai Pallavi.

However, after watching the special glimpse of Mammootty titled Siya Entry, many people on social media are suggesting that Mammootty looks extremely stylish and that his dialogues in the glimpse were powerful.

They claim that Rajkumar Periyasamy seems to have shaped a powerful character for Mammootty and believe that the character Burma Karthikeyan, played by Mammootty in this film, will be iconic. Additionally, they praised Sai Abhyankar’s background score in the glimpse, suggesting that it elevated the glimpse to the next level.

Meanwhile, many people noted that the final shot in the glimpse featuring a stylish Mammootty alongside Dhanush’s entry resembles the Dhurandhar franchise’s iconic entry of Akshaye Khanna and Ranveer Singh.

On the other hand, although Rajkumar Periyasamy recently claimed in an interview that Om is being postponed due to delays in shooting, the recently released glimpse still mentions the previously announced release date of October 16th.

Consequently, this has created a lot of confusion among audiences regarding whether the film is actually being postponed or not and whether Om will clash with Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2.

Nevertheless, with the positive responses to Mammootty’s glimpse, Om is building solid pre-release hype and it remains to be seen whether the film will satisfy the expectations of the audiences and emerge as a blockbuster success upon its release.
