After Varasudu got postponed from 11 January to 14 January, everyone thought the road would be cleared for Mythri Movie Makers’ Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veearyyya. But that wasn’t to be.
Mythri who set out to distribute their films on their own had a tough time with Dil Raju and Sunil’s exhibition sector syndicate.

The exhibitors asked Mythri for more prices than what they charge from Dil Raju and Sunil When Mythri asked why, they replied that Raju and Sunil give them more business regularly and it is not feasible for them to go for such rates for other producers. They also cited the festival frenzy as one of the reasons.
Mythri didn’t budge at first and kept insisting on lower rates. It was heard that Mythri was of the opinion that Raju and Sunil is behind this and they were the ones who drove up the prices intentionally.

But the latest reports are suggesting that Mythri had to come down and approve the high prices quoted by the exhibition syndicate. This is because of the fact that the release of Veera Simha Reddy is drawing close and there’s no time left for leisurely negotiations.
Apparently, Mythri are having to pay high prices for the distribution of Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya. The agreements are underway now and will be done by tonight. The bookings can open anytime post that.
