As we reported earlier, DVV Entertainment, led by producer DVV Danayya, went a step too far on social media.
Their official X handle stooped to the level of a troll account, targeting and mocking the petitioner who had filed a case against the high ticket prices of OG in Telangana.
While the case was still in legal proceedings, DVV Entertainment posted a tweet offering the petitioner a “100-rupee discount” on an OG ticket, effectively making a mockery of the law.
The tweet received backlash, and now it appears to have been deleted.
Just days later, the Telangana High Court, under the Honorable Judge lruled that the producer could not arbitrarily raise ticket prices as was done for OG. With this judgment, the mocking tone of DVV’s earlier tweet stands in even poorer light.
This episode shows how even established production houses are slipping into cheap social media tactics, chasing attention through trolling and mockery. Coming from a banner like DVV Entertainment, fresh off a big release like OG, the move is both surprising and disappointing.
