Exclusive: Locations Problem For Pushpa 2

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is getting delayed indefinitely and there is no clarity on when the film will actually commence the shoot. Of all the problems, Pushpa 2 unit is now said to be facing locations problem and here’s the story behind it.

Sukumar now has two options. He can either shoot in Maredumilli, where the first part was shot, or head to the location where a portion of Rangasthalam was shot. But there is a problem associated with both of them.

The Rangasthalam locations are almost entirely submerged due to Polavaram project now. Shooting here is impossible as of now.

As for Maredumilli, there is the rain issue. It is excessively raining in this forest range and shooting with these conditions is as tough as it can get. Also, Sukumar apparently fears that using the same locations from the first part can bring a sense of repetitiveness.

So, the team is now considering the option of shooting in other states or countries with locations that suit the theme of Pushpa 2. The final call will be taken soon.
