Ram Pothineni and Lingusamy’s The Warriorr was released yesterday, and the response has been quite mixed. The action scenes got some appreciation, but the routine second half spelled boredom for the audience in the theaters.
But there has been a unanimous negative reaction to the background music scored by Devi Sri Prasad. The BGM scored by him couldn’t elevate the proceedings of the film and made the film even more lethargic.
Many are complaining that these days the BGM is crucial for the success of every film. The success of Vikram was mostly credited to the thumping BGM delivered by Anirudh. But DSP is still giving BGM, which he used to give a decade back.
This has created a kind of panic among Allu Arjun fans. BGM was also one of the biggest issues in Pushpa: The Rise as well. Now DSP is on board again for the Pushpa sequel, and this time Bunny fans are in no mood to forgive any kind of negligence.
Allu Arjun fans are tagging their hero and the makers and requesting them to change the music director or personally take care of the music and BGM as they no more trust DSP.
We still believe that DSP has got some juice left in him, and with the right kind of motivation, he can still deliver the goods.
