Having a plenty of Facebook of friends means the person had more sympathisers when he is in trouble? A Facebook study conducted by a professor from Oxford University revealed interesting facts that most FB friends are all Fake.

An average Facebook account holder has 150 friends of them only 14 persons would extend support or sympathy in hard times. It also explored that only 27 present of Facebook friends are genuine. This number is in line with the “How friendships work in real life”. There would be some face to face interaction to maintain causal relationship with friends.
According to study , a person organises friends in different patterns or layers. 5 persons will be form the first closet group, followed by 15, 50 and 150 members closet groups to interact with them.
