Guna says he didn’t make Rudramadevi for sets

Guna Sekhar’s upcoming historical drama ‘Rudramadevi’s huge buzz creating factor has been Allu Arjun’s special appearance as Gona Gannareddy. Since it’s a special appearance, one would expect a 20-25 min role for the megahero in the film. But in the recent pressmeet, Guna says that Allu Arjun is having a screen appearance in the film for an hour. That’s a good news for Bunny’s fans.

Coming to the VFX, Guna Sekhar accepts that his previous films like ‘Okkadu’, ‘Arjun’ and ‘Varudu’ boast of magnificent sets but the VFX work also played an important role to show those sets extraordinarily in those movies. In case of ‘Rudramadevi’, he says he didn’t make this film for sets. The film is the first 3D-historical film ever made.

The release date of the film is locked for the first week of September. The post-production work regarding VFX and CGI is going on. However the expected buzz is lacking due to the previous promotional trailer which showed poor VFX works. We know, a lot of hard work has gone into the making of this historical drama and every Telugu Cinema fan hopes that it will become a big hit. Hope it lives up the promise.
