Here’s what Kamal had to say about Rajini’s film

Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan may not have received thumbs up from audiences and critics alike but the actor’s close friend and co-star Kamal Haasan, who saw the film at a private screening on Sunday, had wonderful things to say about the film as he loved it to the core. Kamal saw the film with his ‘Uttama Villain’ co-star Pooja Kumar.

According to a source from the screening, Kamal raved Rajini’s daughter for attempting the unthinkable without having to worry about the aftermath. He said when most filmmakers are scared to experiment with their films, Kamal said that Soundarya being a woman has proved to be different. Kamal wished Soundarya good luck with the film’s sequel, which may or may not go on floors depending on the reception to Kochadaiiyaan.

The Telugu version of the film titled Vikramasimha has turned out to be a disaster. Thanks to Manam, Rajini’s film has been trashed by audiences and critics alike.
