Hero becomes villain in his own remake!

When we mention ‘Hero’ we are literally talking about a film Hero that released in 1983. It was a Subhash Ghai directed film that made Jackie Shroff a star overnight. Akkineni Nagarjuna’s debut as hero, Vikram, was a remake of this film.

Now coming to the present, Hero is being remade again. It is produced by Salman Khan and introduces Sooraj Pancholi, son of Aditya Pancholi as hero. The interesting part here is that Jackie Shroff who was the hero in the original version has been roped in to play villain in this remake, thus hero turning villain in his own remake. This idea of role reversal has come from none other than producer Salman Khan himself.

This is not the first time that such a thing is happening, previously Amitabh Bachchan played the iconic negative role of Gabbar Singh in the remake of his film Sholay where he was one of the heroes.
