Coming to Tamil industry, she made her debut with a performance oriented character as an anglo Indian. They see her as one between an artistic character and the girl next door. But for Bollywood, she is truly a girl next door.

Her recent choice of characters made her realise that quality is important over quantity. She hopes big way that Tollywood realises that she can act, not just a glam doll. After a while, she is now playing the lead in Telugu film ‘Ghazi’.
