How Meher Ramesh is connected to Jiah Khan?

Jiah Khan, the British born Indian actress never acted in a single Telugu movie but she spent last few hours of her life in Hyderabad auditioning for a Telugu movie. She was reportedly offered an item girl role in a big movie. Interestingly, Jiah missed several Telugu movies before this all directed by Meher Ramesh. He tried to rope in for an item number in Shadow but replaced her with Tapsee in the last moment. He earlier tried to cast her opposite NTR and Prabhas in Kantri and Billa respecitvely but for some reason it did not materialize.

Jiah was also offered the second lead in superstar Pawan Kalyan’s film, Panjaa in 2011. But she was not interested in that either. The Nishabd lady departed finally with out making her Telugu debut.
