It is known to our readers that the first metro rail was delivered by the Korean Manufactures few days ago. The three coach train is currently in Hyderabad and will be put to test run in couple of days. People can see the train plying a stretch of 8 Kms on the test run day. Both the Metro construction company L&T and the Korean Manufacturers will closely monitor the test run on the assigned day.
The first phase of metro works is progressing fast and the Nagole to Mettuguda will be operational from March, 2015. The total Metro Rail Project is of Rs 20,000 crore worth and it is the biggest investment ever made by the construction company, L&T in any one single city. The project spanning 72 Kms is expected to complete in 5 years and if it happens, it will register a record for the shortest construction period for 72 kms stretch in just five years.
