Megastar Chiranjeevi interacted with Buchi Babu Sana and Venkata Satish Kilaru, as Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi became a huge blockbuster. The movie is running super sucessfully at the box office with unprecedented craze and even on Day 11, the bookings are phenomenal. Talking with the team, Chiranjeevi said, “I had tears watching Ram Charan in the hospital scene and till the climax, my eyes were moist.”
He further said, “It is easy to give a loud performance which feels like acting but it is hard to absorb the emotion and give an understated yet realistic performance. Charan did it and I am proud of his dedication, commitment. He used to come to home all exhausted and with vegetarian diet he had to work doubly hard for Wrestling scenes but he gave a phenomenal performance.”
Chiranjeevi praised Jagapathi Babu and Shiva Rajkumar for accepting such rustic and grounded roles. He said, “I did not recognise Jagapathi Babu until I heard his voice and looked into his eyes. As Appalasoori, he is phenomenal and I need to thank my Shivanna. Actor with such stature and talent was needed to command Charan and I was thrilled to see their interaction throughout.”
He praised AR Rahman’s BGM and said, “Even though today’s trend is to give heeo elevation scores, ARR did a brilliant job in elevating emotions throughout.” Chiranjeevi did conclude on a lighter note stating that he is slightly jealous of Charan for getting such great films but proud as a father. Peddi is receiving tremendous response worldwide and it has become South India’s highest grosser of the Year, already.
