Isn’t Puri Jagannadh interested in politics? Does he think that politics is a waste of time? Puri Jagan says that he never read newspapers except on 5 occasions when Indira Gandhi passed away, Rajiv Gandhi was killed and a few other occasions. He is least interested in day to day politics.

But way back in 2009, there had been a news that Puri Jagan is going to work for YSRCP and make a film on Rajasekhara Reddy. It’s said that even actors Rajasekhar and Jeevitha are involved. Puri denies it totally saying that he never was interested in politics or supported YSRCP. It was his brother who was interested.
Puri chose a diplomatic route when asked about his interest in politics. He says he would rather choose to read history than read the mundane news about the present politicians. So, there is no way that he would enter politics or support any party.
