Actress Ileana D’Cruz, once a leading heroine of Telugu cinema and later a recognised face in Bollywood, has finally addressed speculation about her return to movies.
She built a strong career across industries, working with big names like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Prabhas, and Allu Arjun. Her Bollywood debut was in Barfi! (2012), starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.
She went on to appear in films such as Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, Happy Ending, and Baadshaho. Her last film was Do Aur Do Pyaar in 2024, after which she embraced motherhood and took a break from acting.
In a recent Freedom to Feed live session with Neha Dhupia, Ileana revealed that she currently has no immediate plans to return to films.
She now lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband Michael Dolan. The couple has two sons, Koa Phoenix Dolan, born on August 1, 2023, and Keanu Rafe Dolan, born on June 19, 2025.
Reflecting on her journey, Ileana admitted she misses being on sets and portraying different characters. However, her main focus right now is raising her children.
“I really want to come back. But I also want to prioritise being with my boys and taking care of them… Maybe soon. I don’t know how soon,” she confessed.
Opening up about motherhood, Ileana spoke about moments of self-doubt when she felt she wasn’t a “perfect mother.” She added that she has learned to accept those feelings as a natural part of parenting.
For now, while fans eagerly wait for her return, Ileana is fully devoted to this new chapter in her life.
