Ileana has been using social media to communicate on motherhood and parenting after the birth of her first child, Koa Phoenix Dolan. Recently, the actress reposted a post on parenting on her Instagram Stories.

It was then that a fan sent a DM stating that kids should be taught that being wicked, cruel, or selfish are not lovable traits. Ileana seemed to be so intrigued by the comment that she decided to speak about it.
Here’s what the person wrote, “Love has to be earned just like respect and happiness. And it’s not wrong to chase love… We just have to teach kids not to chase people for their response to our positive qualities but merely to nurture them so that people will turn to us on their own.” (sic)

Here’s what the Barfi actress said in response to the fan’s reaction, “I will never want my children to feel that they need to ‘earn’ my love. That is by far the worst feeling I have ever experienced. Feeling ‘not good enough’.”
She also stated that she would want to raise happy, healthy, and kind children. Ileana was also quick to state that people are free to do things their way.

Ileana D’Cruz got married to Michael Dolan secretly in May 2023, sparking a lot of debate on social media. The couple welcomed their first child, Koa Phoenix Dolan, in August 2023. Earlier this year, the actress also announced her second pregnancy in a New Year post.
