Director Shankar needs no introduction to Indian cinema buffs. However, his last few projects have failed miserably. Especially, Indian 2 which turned out to be one of the worst films and biggest disasters.
Now, he is gearing up for the release of his next film, Game Changer, starring Ram Charan.

After the debacle of Indian 2, it was assumed that Indian 3 might never be released. Even if it were, it would be released directly on some OTT platform and not in theaters.
But today, Shankar has confirmed that Indian 3 will be released in theaters.

The release of Indian 3 in theaters is possible only in one scenario: if Shankar’s next, Game Changer, which is releasing on January 10, turns out to be a big hit, and his reputation, which was tarnished by Indian 2, is somewhat restored. Then the audience, producers, and theater owners will have some confidence in releasing Indian 3 in theaters.
Currently, their confidence is at an all-time low, and unless Game Changer is a huge blockbuster, they won’t have the courage to release Indian 3 in theaters.
