Is Masala going to be the one?

Atharintiki Daredi released on September 27, 2013 and before that Balupu released on June 28, 2013. Well nothing to get confused here we are simply stating the dates of last two successes starring a big hero or big productions which were successes. What that effectively means is that we have had just two big hits in the past five months. We had Iddarammayilatho release on May 31 then Ramayya Vastavayya and Bhai in September and all these films failed at the box office big time. So will Masala finally be the one and become the next big film to succeed?

Masala stars Venkatesh and Ram in the lead. Both the actors’ last solo releases Shadow and Ongole Gittha were disasters of epic proportions. But as they are coming together for the first time definitely hype has been created among the audience. Add to it the fact that it’s a remake of a hit film the trade is pinning all the hopes on this film to be the next big success at the box office. The makers are already going all out with the promotions and the theatrical too has garnered good response. All these signs are pointing towards a hit at the minimum, let’s see what is in store for the film when it hits the screens on November 14 all over.
