Last Festival Advantage: How Are Jailer & Ranabaali Trending?

Today happens to be the final day of the Dasara holiday season and it is going to be of extreme importance for both the recent films Ranabaali and Jailer 2.

Considering the fact that both the films are successfully running in theatres, let us have a look at the current trend on October 21, which is the last day of the mainstream holiday season.

As of this moment, the Vijay Deverakonda film is selling around 7000 tickets per hour while the Rajinikanth film is selling around 30,000.

Despite the weak reviews earlier on the day of the release, the Vijay film was able to sustain reasonably well. It is able to sell consistently around 100,000 tickets per day on BookMyShow.

But the real Dasara winner, here is obviously Rajinikanth who is setting the ticket counters on absolute fire with Jailer 2. The kind of revenues that this film is setting at the Telugu box office is superior to the straight Telugu film as well.

Without a blockbuster, Rajinikanth film and reasonably positive reviews, Vijay’s Ranabaali might’ve done marginally well. But sadly for the film, this is how things turned out and the team will have to make do with the same.
