Choreographer Jani Master alias Shaik Jani, has been produced in Hyderabad’s Upparapalli court today in the sexual assault case filed against him.
Upon hearing the case, the court sent him to a 14-day judicial remand (till October 3) in Charlapalli Central Jail. Jani is being transferred to the jail as per the court’s order.
The Cyberabad Police Department’s SOT cops caught Jani Master yesterday in Goa. Immediately, he was shifted to Hyderabad. Later, the police questioned him in a confidential location and collected key information in the case.
After conducting necessary medical tests on Jani Master at Golkonda Hospital in Hyderguda, he was produced at the Upparpalli court.
It all started when a 21-year-old lady filed a sexual assault complaint against Jani. She accused him of sexually attacking her over the past few years. She worked as an assistant choreographer under Jani.
She also alleged that Jani Master sexually abused her multiple times at her residence in Narsingi. The Raidurgam police filed a zero FIR and transferred the case to Narsingi Police Station.
As the victim claimed that she was being sexually assaulted from the days she was a minor, the police filed a case under the POSCO Act against Jani. Later, they arrested him in Goa.
