It is known that Jr NTR and Ram Charan are coming up with Devara and Game Changer respectively. Both these films are arriving in close vicinity as they are bound to arrive in the latter half of 2024. While Devara is arriving on September 27, Game Changer is arriving in December.
Coming to the point, NTR and Ram Charan’s fans are having a polar response and it has something to do with the choice of music directors for their upcoming film.
In the case of Devara, Anirudh is at the helm of the music department. His latest work for Indian 2 was tipped to be underwhelming. Anirudh, who is usually a master of BGM and mass music, is said to have grossly underdelivered with Indian 2.
On the other hand, we have AR Rahman who recently worked for Raayan. Though Dhanush’s Raayan garnered mixed reviews, Rahman’s work for the film is being highlighted. His BGM and songs are getting a thumbs-up.
Rahman will soon be collaborating with Ram Charan for the film with Buchi Babu which is under production.
The quality and skill of Anirudh and Rahman far supersede any other music director in India. But going by their latest form, Anirudh is leaving NTR’s fans a bit anxious with his non-top-tier work for Indian 2 while Rahman has ticked the box with Raayan and setting the tempo for Game Changer.
