Anirudh Ravichander is the biggest name in Indian cinema as far as music composers go. In the current market, he is bigger than even AR Rahman, and that’s a fact.
But of late, Anirudh’s work hasn’t been as exciting, opine netizens. His last good work was for Jailer. His most recent song from Indian 2 underwhelmed and couldn’t strike the desired chord.
Coming to the topic, NTR’s fans are now anxious about Anirudh’s work after watching the trailer of Indian 2 which arrived the other day.
The trailer had a flat soundtrack that wasn’t of Anirudh’s standard. The Anirudh trademark high has gone missing here. The whole musical vibe was not on the desired scale.
Even if we come to the Fear song from Devara, it could only cater to a section. It has a good orchestration and all, but the overall vibe isn’t as appealing to reach the wider sections of the audience. Though it is in the same category as Hukum, the reach hasn’t been as good as the latter.
But we must also note that it is only humane for an artist or a composer to have ups and downs. This might perhaps be regarded as a lean patch, but Anirudh is still a big brand.
If he can come up with grade-A work for the coming songs and then kill it with his BGM for Devara, he can certainly make NTR’s fans happy again.
