Kajol’s hubby Returns to Kick Out ‘Kick’

Till Thursday, Salman Khan starrer ‘Kick’ remained the highest groccer of 2014 so far. But Kajol’s husband changed everything this Friday. Ajay Devgan (Bollywood actress Kajol’s husband) Independence Day release ‘Singham returns’ literally kicked out Salman’s ‘Kick’s records. On the opening day, Salman’s movie collected around Rs.26 crores astonishing the trade pundits.

However, strong mouth talk and pre-release positive buzz helped ‘Singham Returns’ to rake a huge moolah of Rs.34 crore plus. Comparitively, Ajay Devgan has never been an equal to Salman Khan regarding box-office collections. Though the prequel of the film too did superb business at the box-office, the current release has turned out to be the best groccer till date amongst Ajay Devgan’s movies. This one also marks the first superbhit film of Kareena Kapoor post her marriage.
