When it comes to the top-performing states in the U.S., there is no state near Texas, which has grossed $2.09 million. California, in second place, has collected half of what Texas did, fetching $1.1 million.

The states from 3rd to 10th positions based on their total collections for the first weekend are as follows:

New Jersey, Illinois, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Washington, Florida, and Ohio.

As we have reported before during Hanuman collections, North Carolina, a new market, is growing at a rapid pace as a huge chunk of the Telugu population moved to NC since COVID times, due to many IT jobs becoming remote and better housing options near universities. The NC market will further grow in the future.

For now, Texas remains Tollywood’s stronghold in the U.S., with no other state coming close.
