Days after Finance Minster of Tamil Nadu made scathing remarks on actor Kamal Haasan over his interview which reportedly took the government to the cleaners, Kamal clarified that he had never given such an interview.

The outraged star gave clarification today that it was an e-mail that he sent to a journalist representing the anger of a common man. The mail was turned into an interview, that never happened, and the anger was directed towards government, which wasn’t meant originally.
Kamal Haasan says that he is happy with the way the works have been going on in restoring normalcy to the rain affected Chennai. He added that he has always requested his fans to align with the government agencies whenever doing social work or charity and if his comments have hurt anyone working on ground, he is ready to apologize for it.
