Well known actor as well as filmmaker Kamal Haasan recently expressed his plans to do a Tamil movie in Karnataka. His motive behind this film is his desire for bilinguals to reach out to larger audience in the south. Haasan explained at a programme organised by Press Club of Bangalore and Bangalore Reporters’ Guild that they want to the movie in Karnataka even though the film is Tamil by nature. It is also important to note that Kamal Haasan has now finished with the shooting schedule of the espionage thriller “Vishwaroopam 2”, a film that is both written and directed by him.
He also commented that when he made the statement “leaving the country” due to the ban of “Vishwaroopam” earlier this year, it was out of anguish since he was hurt. He said that he is not taking back that word, and that if he is threatened or troubled again as an artiste, he can leave the country. But any would care and respect Kamal?
