Kannada TV Actress Shruthi Brutally Stabbed

Shruthi had reportedly returned to live with her husband, Amareesh, after a brief separation. What was meant to be a fresh start soon turned violent.

According to reports, while their children were away at college, Amareesh launched a savage attack on her.

Initial police investigations reveal that Amareesh allegedly used pepper spray on Shruthi before stabbing her multiple times — in the neck, ribs, and thigh.

He also dragged her by the hair and banged her head against a wall. The nature of the assault has led investigators to believe this was a pre-planned act rather than a spontaneous argument.

Shruthi is currently being treated at Victoria Hospital. She has filed a formal complaint accusing Amareesh of attempted murder. In her statement, she said this was not a one-time incident, but the result of years of abuse and unresolved problems in their marriage.

The Hanumanthanagar Police have arrested Amareesh and filed multiple charges against him. A full investigation is now underway.

This disturbing case has sent shockwaves through the Kannada TV industry. Shruthi, best known for her work in shows like Amruthadhare, is now at the center of a heartbreaking real-life tragedy.

The incident has also reignited conversations about domestic violence and how it can affect anyone — even those in the public eye.

Fans and fellow actors have expressed support for Shruthi, hoping for her speedy recovery and justice.
