Lakshmi and Roja’s contradictory remarks on MAA victory

The winning of MAA elections by Rajendra Prasad is eliciting interesting and varied remarks from different people. This fact couldn’t be highlighted better than the reaction to the winner through the comments of Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and Roja.

Manchu Lakshmi said that she was disappointed with the final result. She felt that a women contesting for the first time was a heartening thing to happen and it would have been great if she had won too. Roja on the other said that victory of Rajendra Prasad was a slap on the face of powerful people who were pulling strings in MAA doing nothing.

So, as one can see both have a clearly contrasting view and such has been the opinions overall too. However the majority of this division has been towards Rajendra Prasad who has won the election by 85 votes.
