Lakshmi Manchu’s new film started its regular shooting today in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Karthikeya Gopala Krishna who previously directed Jagapathi Babu’s Sadhyam and Navadeep’s Vasool Raja, is wielding Megaphone for this film. Both the films ended up as disappointments at the box office, but Lakshmi gave him a new chance trusting the script.

The makers have announced the film title as Lakshmi Bomb (Caption: From Sivakasi). As soon as the title is announced, social media heaped jokes on the title, taking a jibe on the multi-faceted daughter of Mohan Babu. Some said it should titled as ‘Lakshmi Bomb’oi (On the lines of Baboi).
Some joked as usually Lakshmi is gearing up to place a bomb for the audience. Some other said it is an apt title for Manchu family films. Keeping the jokes aside, the film will see Lakshmi playing a judge for the first time. The makers are planning to complete the entire shoot in a single continuous schedule in and around Hyderabad
