Lakshmi Manchu denies political entry rumors

We keep hearing strange things from time to time but nothing comes across more stranger than the ones that creep up silently in the film industry like this one for example. Apparently actress Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna is thinking of making her entry into active politics later this year. Well this was news not just to us but even to the actress herself who seems to have a similar feeling in strangeness. As expected the actress condemns the rumors and says there are no such plans at all.

Meanwhile the actress is all busy and in happy space on the professional front. Why not, she is doing a Hollywood production currently which is fast finishing up its production. Titled Basmati Blues, this Hollywood movie, stars actors like Donald Sutherland, Brie Larson and Scott Bakula. Said to be a romantic comedy slated to release in the year, the film has been mostly shot in India. Lakshmi Prasanna will be seen playing a character called Sita in the film and the actress has expressed tremendous happiness to be part of the film. Let’s see how this Hollywood debut of hers pans out.
