Lingaa is the upcoming film of Superstar Rajinikanth that went on to sets recently. The first schedule of the film has been already completed and it happened in Mysore with the presence of heroine Sonakshi Sinha. The unit is currently taking a short gap and for the next schedule they would be moving to Hyderabad.
A massive set has been erected for the shoot in Ramoji Film City which is expected to commence from May 25. The film is on a fast track mode according to director KS Ravi Kumar with the intention of releasing it by Diwali, or Pongal for sure, if it misses the Diwali deadline. The reason for this film all of a sudden is to make up for the fans of the star for the long delay in a Rajinikanth movie. Rajinikanth will be seen in dual roles in the film with Anushka being the other heroine. Jagapathi Babu plays an important role in the film which is produced by Rockline Venkatesh.
