Mahesh Babu promoted his latest release Brahmotsavam big time and did not leave any stone unturned in taking the film to a wider audience. But sadly, the film has received mixed reviews from all over its areas of release yesterday.

Several factors went against the film and one among them was the logic factor. The film showcases Mahesh’s sister who is settled in London talking to her parents on an emotional note through video chat.
Talking point now is that she is no where to be seen in the film after that. Not even after her father, Satyaraj passes away and the movie goes off track to a point that Mahesh goes finding his seven generations all over India but ignores his own sister big time.
Scenes like these and many more have no logic and have gone over the top of the audience. The lengthy run time, too much of melodrama and directionless narration made this film take a severe beating with the audience.
With close to 18 minutes being chopped off now the makers feel that the film will look crisp and better. Will it do a word of good to the film or does not only time will tell.
