So it happens that the musician was unnecessarily disturbed by a question completely unrelated to event. The result is a grand audio launch planned for the launch of 1000th film as music director, Thaarai Thappatai, has been cancelled.
At a press meet organized to reveal details about music launch the musician was asked by a reporter regarding his views on the beep song. This irked Ilayaraja and he immediately cancelled the event.
