Ever since “Kalki 2898 AD” was released, Mahesh Babu fans have been creating imaginary gossip about their favorite star being part of the sequel.
During director Nag Ashwin’s Q&A with the media today, a journalist brought up the question. Nag clarified that there was never any consideration or thought of including Mahesh Babu in the sequel.

Nag Ashwin also said Mahesh Babu as Sri Krishna will not be part of his film, but it would be nice if he takes on this role in another film.
Additionally, when asked if “Kalki 2898 AD” was first offered to Chiranjeevi, Nag Ashwin outrightly denied that there was ever such an attempt.
