Superstar Mahesh Fans and Thalapathy Vijay fans have been at loggerheads since the advent of social media. Comparisons between the films of the two stars become the reason for these fan wars, especially on Twitter.
Mahesh Babu‘s blockbusters Okkadu and Pokiri were remade in Tamil with Vijay as Ghilli and Pokkiri, which also did reasonably well. But on social media, Vijay fans come and say that Vijay’s remakes were better than Mahesh Babu’s original films.
Mahesh fans don’t take such comments lightly and give them a befitting reply. And then starts the ugly trolling of both the stars and disgusting hashtags like #BoycottGayMahesh and #NationalTrollMaterialVijay.
Mahesh babu fans should understand that Vijay is a decent actor, but he could never match the charm of Mahesh in either Okkadu or Pokiri. It’s embarrassing for Mahesh to get compared with Vijay in those remakes.
Vijay gained stardom because of those remakes, and Mahesh is a superstar on another level, be it in the domestic or overseas market. Mahesh is going to be in a different league altogether after the release of films with Trivikram and SS Rajamouli.
It’s better that Superstar fans don’t involve themselves in such silly fan wars as Mahesh is active on social media, and he might feel weird witnessing such hashtags in his mentions.
