Controversial Star Gets Blockbuster And Bail

The Malayalam star Dileep who was booked and put in jail for sexual assault has finally got bail after eighty-five days in police custody. The Kerala High Court granted him bail after his lawyers filed a third petition.

The star had to pay One Lakh bond to the court for the bail. Dileep has many films in hand at various stages of pre-production before he was arrested. He would now resume those works. It helps him immensely that his latest release Ramleela has turned out to be a blockbuster.

The police meanwhile will continue the investigation. Dileep will also have to attend the enquires whenever necessary. The blockbuster success and subsequent release have made the fans stronger, and industry heaves a sigh of relief.
