Shine Tom Chacko gained recognition with the Telugu audience after his villainous role in Nani’s Dasara. Due to the OTT boom also, the Telugu audience got familiar with him after watching Malayalam films extensively in recent times.
Now, Chacko’s recent interview with a Telugu entertainment channel is gaining a lot of attention on social media. Shine Tom Chacko once again displayed his over-the-top humor and gestures.
During the interview, when the anchor praised his shirt, Shine jokingly offered to take it off and give it to her. He nearly unbuttoned his shirt. The interview was conducted to promote the movie Ranga Bali. Director Pawan Basamasetti also participated in the interview. While the presenter agreed to wear Shine’s shirt, Pawan reminded him that it was a family show.
It has been observed that this is not the first instance where Shine Tom Chacko has conducted himself indecently. There are many clips being shared on social media where he made the anchors embarrassed with his overaction.
What Chacko may find funny and quirky, may seem offensive to others. Such antics might be okay with the Malayalam audience, but the well-cultured Telugu people don’t appreciate such antics. He should respect the culture and dignity of the people he is interacting with
