Man gets a stone delivered for Rs.60,000!

online-shopping-fraudChirag Nayi, a resident of Navrangpura, Gujarat ordered a high end tablet from a e-commerce portal to gift some one. However the whole experience turned out to be dreadful after Chirag received a stone in the package instead of the tablet.

Chirag usually exercise ‘Cash on Delivery’ option for all this online purchases but this particular website do not allow COD option for purchases above 50000. He then approached Gujarat University Police with a complaint on the portal. His family is also planning to drag the company to consumer court.

In recent days, with the rise in e-commerce with attractive money saving offers, the number of cheating cases has also increased. Even the Consumer rights form is also planning to contact the portal.
